Arrange your travel


First of all, pay attention that it if you are flying, it is better to fly to Copenhagen, then to Stockholm. It would take you not more than 20 minutes to get from Copenhagen to Malmö by train.

Info on how to get from Copenhagen (CPH) Airport to Malmö

To get to Malmö via Copenhagen Airport is the most convenient route for all the travelers. The easiest transportation mode from CPH or Kastrup Airport to Malmö is by train. The ‘Öresundståg’ or the Oresund train leaves every 20 minutes: the 6th, 26th and 46th minutes of every hour. The track is easily found one floor below the airport. The tickets could be purchased by a credit card from the automatic machine seller, the red ‘skånetrafiken’ or at the counter using Euros, Danish Crowns, or Swedish Crowns; the currencies exchange counters are easily accessible within the airport. This ticket could later be used on the bus in Malmö. The station you should get off is Malmö C, or Malmö Central Station, which is the third station from the airport.

Info on how to get from Malmö Airport (Sturrup) to Malmö

The second option is Sturup. There are various flights flying directly to Malmö via Malmö Airport, which is 50 minutes away from the Central Station by bus. The only bus company that provides the transportation is called ‘Flygbussarna’ which offers convenient and comfortable bus services to and from all the major airports in Sweden. The tickets could be purchased online at this link.

Transportation within Malmo

Once you have arrived to Malmö Central station, the bus stops are not hard to find. By following the ‘bus’ sign, you shall be brought to the outdoor bus station.
The purchase of the ticket cannot be done with cash at the bus. However, with the Öresundståg’s ticket of the train from CPH airport, you can get on the bus for free.
The stops you need to get to are ‘Anna Lindhs Plats’ or ‘Centralen’.  These are the following buses that pass the mentioned stops.
Anna Lindhs Plats: 2, 3, 8
Centralen: 2,3,4,5,8,31,32,35
